What is a HydraFacial?

A hydrafacial combines elements of popular treatments like serums, extractions, and microdermabrasion. It eliminates impurities and hydrates. It gently removes the dead outer layer of the skin and goes deep to hydrate pores without damage.

How Does a Hydrafacial Work?

This non-invasive treatment improves skin health, addresses individual concerns, and creates a glow like no other. Unlike traditional facials, our hydrafacial treatments are performed via device rather than by hand, resutling in deeper product penetration and longer lasting results.

At Morgan Merrill Beauty, we personalize your facial to correct your unique skin concerns. You will see visible improvements in fine lines & wrinkles, dark spots, elasticity & firmness redness, hydration, pigmentation, congestion & acne, and pore size.

What Are The Steps of a Hydrafacial?

The treatment uses a hydrafacial machine that delivers results via a 4-in-1 Vortex Technology. Here is how the process works.

Vortex Cleaning

Vortex cleaning is the first step of the hydrafacial process. We use a wand connected to the machine to exfoliate the skin. We then decide which tip color to use. A blue tip provides less intense exfoliation. Purple and orange tips eliminate dead skin more aggressively.

Our estheticians will glide the wand across the skin to collect sebum, dirt, and dead skin cells. The wand’s vacuum power releases an Activ-4 serum. The serum contains glycolic and lactic acid that deep clean skin and an algae extract that soothes and hydrates.

The vortex cleaning mimics the microdermabrasion process, but it is gentler and less messy.

Vortex-Acid Peel

The vortex-acid peel is a non-irritating glycolic and salicylic acid mix. It is applied via the teal tip of the wand on the hydrafacial machine. It penetrates deeply into your pores to loosen and remove dirt. It brightens skin and reduces the risk of acne.

Vortex Extraction

After the acid peel loosens dirt in the pores, the extraction method sucks the dirt out. The wand is used to apply a Beta-HD serum to draw the dirt out of the skin. It contains a mix of hydrating, exfoliating, soothing and anti-inflammatory agents.

The wand uses vacuum power to suck the dirt out of the skin. Sometimes a booster serum is added during this step. It contains peptides that hydrate, firm and soothe skin to produce a more youthful appearance.

Vortex Fusion

Vortex Fusion is the final step of the hydrafacial process. A clear tip is placed on the wand to infuse the skin with an antioxidant serum. It protects the skin from free radicals that cause damage and accelerate aging.
