Massage Therapist

Hair & Makeup Artist

Must consistently be a positive role model and team player, have a high level work ethic, and positive attitude. Obtains organizational skills, effective decision making skills, and effective communication skills. Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and able to adapt to changes.


Essential Functions:

  • Understands and implements high standards of customer service
  • Fully understands and correctly implements all aspects of a massage therapists duties
  • Following direction and implements/completes tasks within the guidelines of company’s policies and regulations.
  • Thoroughly opening and closing of the spa treatment rooms.
  • Assisting in maintaining, restocking, and cleaning facility during downtime
  • Perform professional and quality massage and body related services (within the scope of your license and practice).
  • Reliable on attendance and flexible on schedule.
  • Understanding and following proper guidelines of contraindications and restrictions on services.
  • Any other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of massage education 250 (requires city of Sacramento massage license) or 500 hours. Participates in continuing education (preferred). CAMTC preferred.


Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Hourly + Commission + Tips

Schedule: Looking for candidate who is available to work Saturday and Sundays on as needed basis and other days if applicable.


Experience:

  • Massage: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification: Required

MM Beauty is looking for a hair and makeup artist in the Sacramento area to add to our team for weddings and special events.


Must have open availability on weekdays and weekends. Must be reliable, with reliable transportation, have your own kit, be sanitary when working, be customer service oriented, creative, talented, and easy to work with. Hair styling AND/OR makeup experience is required.


We offer a great work environment and a fun atmosphere for our clients and artists. We love what we do and we hope you do too! Makeup is never an emergency. We treat it with love and appreciation.


Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $50.00 – $125.00 per hour, plus tips

Benefits: Flexible schedule

Schedule: on call, weekdays & weekends
